Our Crew is the Biggest and Best

Yesterday was the last day of the second quarter. Each quarter the IZEA Insiders crews are tallied and one crew leader who has recruited the most team members wins a prize. A cash prize.

While that was a motivating factor in recruitment it certainly was not my major motivation.

I really love meeting new bloggers and welcoming them to the “I’m Not A Famous Blogger” IZEA Insider crew. That is why I work hours a day welcoming, inviting, visiting and interviewing bloggers for this crew. That is why I write SocialSpark Saturdays posts to teach bloggers how to use the SocialSpark platform. And that is why I am spotlighting the fantastic people who are Not Famous Bloggers like me. If you have not been asked to participate yet you will, I ask each member individually and that takes time, especially with a crew of our size. We are approaching 1000 strong very quickly.

BTW: I am using much of that money for something very special for the crew members who will be attending IZEAFest. I know that not everyone can attend IZEAFest 2009 so I am working on a special opp on SocialSpark and I am adding each member of the “I’m Not A Famous Blogger” Crew to my Advertiser street team so that they are the only ones who can take advantage of the opp. Again I am doing this on an one at a time basis and it takes time to add everyone, you will be added. I believe in sharing the wealth. I certainly could not do this without each and every member of the “I’m Not A Famous Blogger” IZEA Insider crew. I think that together we can accomplish some fantastic things. I have many ideas on the way!

Don’t have tickets to IZEAFest 2009. You know it is the best blogger conference of the year, right? You know it is at SeaWorld, right? Still need 10 great reasons to go? Well I have three passes to give away and I am working on a big time blogger package to go along with the tickets. I will announce that contest here first for the “I’m Not A Famous Blogger” IZEA Insider crew!

In the meantime there are contests happening at other IZEA Insiders’ blogs.

As I hear about more contests I’ll let you know and remember my contest will be announced here 1st!

Thank You very much for being a member of our crew.

It will be some good stuff. Now I have to figure out who's going to be @IZEAFEST from our crew.

I don't run an Insider Crew, was a little late to the game, never noticed the call. But I try to take time to meet at least 25 – 50 SS members per day, I often take questions and help people out, visit their blogs, give tips about earning, what SS can do for them….Etc. Congrats on the win for the quarter, I know you are the most prominent SS blogger I have seen in the community.

Dragon Blogger, I see you as one of the most prominent SS bloggers too. I'm very happy that you chose this crew. I see you everywhere on SocialSpark. I think that we might add some other features to this blog and get the crew members even more involved. I'll be looking to you for help on that because you know so much about SocialSpark and you know so many of the bloggers. Again, thank you for helping to make our crew the best one out there.

Whats your day job? I notice you are much more active in attending IZEA and Blogger events, wondering what you did outside of blogging.

I work as a Marketing Trainer for a software company. I don't ever mention it by name however. They are very traditional old school and I want to keep the worlds separate. I love attending blogger events. they are so much fun!

Ditto, I don't publicly mention my company at all, they have policies about that stuff. But I am so busy with my “real” job, that my “hobby” blogging always takes a back seat. I never have the time or the financing to attend Blogger events yet, soon though, I swore when my blogs started earning enough I would use that money to attend events.
